Şenpiliç is one of the largest food producers in Europe, with an annual energy consumption of >£20mn across 4 large production facilities. The Kadirli facility processes 270,000 birds per day.In 2024, xWatts deployed IoT energy monitor and control solutions across 3 sites to reduce operational costs and improve energy efficiency, while maintaining production reliability.
Solution
xWatts swiftly saved over 10% energy through optimisation of the cogeneration (CHP) systems, deploying our remote monitoring, automation and control solution, with integrated predictive algorithms. xWatts fine-tuned engine running capacity using factors such as live energy demand, grid energy prices, forecast solar production, steam and hot water production and thermal efficiencies. This represented >£500,000 p.a., including >3,750 tCO2 p.a.
